Weekend Warrior 10/21/11

Sure a lot of us are playing Batman: Arkham City right now, but we have a few other things going on; we’re Renaissance Geeks.

Jeff Cork: Yeah, I’ll be playing Batman: Arkham City this weekend. It’s kind of good.

Ben Reeves: I don’t think it’s a surprise to anyone that I’ll be playing Batman: Arkham City this weekend. I might beat it too, but I don’t think that’s going to stop me from playing it more. The only thing that’s going to get between me and Mr. Wayne is a trip to Valley Fair Amusement Park. They have their annual Halloween extravaganza going on right now, so I’m excited to check that out. I’m also falling behind on my weekly comic book reading. Why is there so much fun in the world?

Jeff Marchiafava: This weekend I’m going to be original and play Batman: Arkham City. I’m sure no other gamers will be playing Arkham City, but sometimes you’ve just got to be original and do your own thing. I might also try to get in some more time on the new Sorcerer’s Lair Pinball FX 2 table, since Jeff Cork still has the high score and his happiness is killing me.

Tim Turi: I have a lot on my plate this weekend. My mind is telling me to keep plugging away at Rage, but my heart wants to play the Sly Cooper HD Collection and Max Payne. I’m keeping Batman: Arkham City on the shelf for now. I have too many loose ends to clean up before digging into that.

Ben Hanson: This won’t come as much of a surprise, but this weekend is devoted to protecting/harassing the streets of Arkham City. I was out of town this week and I fell days behind everybody else. Other than that, I might continue playing Punch-Out!! for the Wii. Super Macho Man needs to be brought to justice.

Kyle Hilliard: Between diaper changes and feedings, I will be exploring Arkham City. My backlog is getting to the breaking point with Deus Ex, Dead Island, Portal 2 DLC and the Ico/Shadow of the Colossus HD collection still staring me down with their sad puppy dog eyes, so maybe I will tackle one of those as well. No promises, though.
