Catherine Worldwide Sales Hit 500,000

Atlus' puzzle-platformer Catherine has been a major success.

According to a translated report by Andriasang, sales across Xbox 360 and PS3 reached 260,000 units in Japan and 230,000 in North America and Europe.

Two other major releases for the publisher next year in Japan include Persona 4 The Golden for PlayStation Vita and Persona 4 The Ultimate in Mayonaka Arena for arcades and consoles. No word yet on whether these titles make it to North America or Europe.
