AT&T U-verse TV Service On Xbox Live Will Require Gold Membership

Starting in November, if you want to watch AT&T's U-verse TV programming through your Xbox, you better make sure you're up to date on your Gold account.

Currently, U-verse is open to Silver members as well, but along with improvements to the service like improved UI and Kinect functionality, Gold is now a mandatory part of the deal. Fortunately, AT&T is being really cool about it and offering a $60 bill credit to cover the first year of Xbox Live Gold service. An AT&T mailer sent in by a reader to Giant Bomb confirms all of this. It's not totally clear, but it seems like even U-verse subscribers who already have a Gold membership might get the credit as well.
