Call Of Duty: Black Ops Dev Treyarch Hiring For New Project

Call of Duty fans and anyone excited about the next iterations of the Xbox and PlayStation may be intrigued by a job listing at developer Treyarch for a new project.

The company has a listing for a senior software engineer that tasks that person with "bringing our hugely successful game to a new console." There are other job listings for the Santa Monica-based developer of Call of Duty: Black Ops (shown), but this is the only one to make reference to a "new console."

Whether that's referring to a port (mobile or handheld, perhaps) or actually the next round of home systems is unknown at this time. There's also the assumption that the "hugely successful" franchise that the listing mentions is Call of Duty, since nothing else in Treyarch's resume has come close to Black Ops' success.
