Mortal Kombat Sells Over Three Million

Warner Bros. Interactive and developer NetherRealm Studios are celebrating with the news that Mortal Kombat has sold over three million copies worldwide.
The game came out for the Xbox 360 and PS3 in April, and has been putting out some DLC characters ever since.
"All of us at NetherRealm Studios are very excited that players have embraced Mortal Kombat," said creative director Ed Boon in a statement. "The game was a labor of love for us and we could not be more pleased with its performance. Fan reaction to this latest installment has made all of our hard work worth it."
Warner Bros. Interactive president Martin Tremblay noted that the game exceeded its expectations.
