Assassin's Creed Multiplayer Beta Opens To All PS3 Owners

Assassin's Creed Revelations' multiplayer beta kicked off last week, but it was only available to PlayStation Plus or Uplay members. Starting today (and running through September 11), anyone with access to PSN can download the beta and participate.

A post on the PlayStation Blog claims that opening up the doors and ending the exclusive access is a result of the beta "going so well." I can't help but wonder, though, if the restricted access over the last several days resulted in fewer people playing than Ubisoft anticipated.

At any rate, if you're interested in taking part, you'd better act quickly. The beta ends this Sunday, so you've only got a few days to stab and sneak. After that, you'll have to wait for the game's November release.
