Monday Night Combat Returns, Is Now Super
Developer Uber Entertainment is revisiting Monday Night Combat, its 2010 third-person shooter released on XBLA. However, fans can expect even more influence from games like DotA.
According to a write-up from Kotaku, Super Monday Night Combat will remain similar to its predecessor, involving class-based heroes and their teams going for their opponents' Moneyballs. However, the matches are now five-on-five, and are more strategic and time-intensive. Best of all, this one is free to play. Of course, you can pay for certain perks, but the team at Uber insists that the free experience will be fulfilling.
While the first entry released on Xbox Live, Super Monday Night Combat is currently only slated for PC. Click here for our review of the original.
