New Senran Kagura Trailer Is Ridiculous
The new brawler is releasing in Japan on 3DS, but we have a feeling that the clothes-tearing schoolgirl theme may keep it off US shores.
Catherine releases tomorrow here in the US, and will offer a taste of some of the over-the-top sexuality inherent to a number of Japanese games and anime. But Catherine is certainly not the only game from Japanese shores with a similar…focus.
A new trailer for Senran Kagura just released for Japanese audiences. The game tells the story of a group of kunoichi (female ninjas) being trained in the art of killing at Hanzo Academy. When not bouncing around the school, the girls head out on high-speed side-scrolling brawling sequences, during which they occasionally lose some of their clothing.
If you're curious why the anime-styled action game from publisher Marvelous doesn't have a planned release in the US, the trailer should give you a pretty good idea.
