Activision Unveils Super-Powered Voice Cast
If you don't have a voice, you can't talk. If you can't talk, you can't star in your own comic book-related video game. Thankfully, the casts of the Spider-Man: Edge of Time and X-Men Destiny don't need to worry, because their voice actors were announced today at Comic-Con.
Of course, Activision didn't reveal the full cast of each game…only the famous people. Who's playing Spider-Man? Who cares? If they weren't on basic cable, Activision apparently isn't interested, as evidenced by the line-up.
In Spider-Man, you'll hear:
- Val Kilmer (Top Gun, Real Genius) as Walker Sloan
- Laura Vandervoort (Smallville, V) as Mary Jane
- Katee Sackhoff (Battlestar Galactica, the worst character in all eight seasons of 24) as Black Cat
In X-Men, the actors will play new characters you've never heard of:
- Milo Ventimiglia (Gilmore Girls, Heroes) as Grant Alexander
- Jamie Chung (Sucker Punch, The Hangover II) as Aimi Yoshida
- Scott Porter (Friday Night Lights) as Adrian Luca
Finally! Maybe now all of those Jamie Chung fans will stop writing us letters asking when she'll voice an X-Man.
