Cookie Monster: Video Game Executive

When Double Fine boss Tim Schafer pitches the iconic blue puppet on an idea for a new video game, Cookie Monster isn't having it. "Guys in marketing tell me zombies kind of 2007," he says. But Schafer's quick thinking may get him a cookie yet.

I know that Grim Fandango has its defenders. Some folks will stump for Monkey Island or even Day of the Tentacle to this day. Jack Black probably thinks that Brütal Legend is his finest work.

But it's obvious to me that Schafer's career has finally peaked by shooting a video with Cookie Monster.

Double Fine's Once Upon A Monster comes out for 360 in October and requires a Kinect to play.
