Transformers Producer Working On Space Invaders And Asteroids Movies

If you saw that headline and clicked it hoping for good news,  you're not gonna get it. The fact that movies based on Space Invaders and Asteroids are in pre-production is bad enough, but now we know a producer of questionable films like Transformers and G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra is on board.

Lorenzo di Bonaventura is also working on a remake of Pet Sematary. When a remake of Pet Sematary is the most promising project you're working on, that's probably reason for concern.
