Limitless Director Linked To Uncharted Film Adaptation

Since the departure of director David O. Russell from the project, the movie adaption of Uncharted has been in a state of flux. Now, according to a story in the Hollywood Reporter, the project might be back on, with Limitless director Neil Burger at the helm.

According to the report, Burger is in "final negotiations" with Columbia Pictures to direct the film. In addition to Limitless, Burger's credits include writing the (pretty good) magician movie The Illusionist and an Iraq war drama called The Lucky Ones.

No word as to whether Mark Wahlberg, who had rumored to be starring as Nathan Drake when Russell was still directing, is still on board.
