Sega Confirms Sonic Generations On 3DS

A previous report that Sonic Generations will be blazing onto 3DS is now confirmed. Sega announced today that the tale of two hedgehogs will be arriving on the three-dimensional handheld,

Sonic will embark on special stages in the 3DS version, and players can also “collect new content and unlock bonus materials” using the handheld’s StreetPass functionality. The game will also include a competitive mode for two players.

The game follows the same storyline revealed in our previous coverage of the 360 and PS3 versions, and arrives this November.
