Splinter Cell Trilogy Collection Due Out This Summer

We've been hearing about a Splinter Cell HD collection since last year, but it seems as though Ubisoft is just now nearing its release.

Upon seeing several retailers listing the PS3 Splinter Cell collection as pushed back to August, Joystiq checked in with Ubisoft and received the following word: "We currently do not have a ship date for it. It will be sometime this summer."

So summer it is! Who's ready to sneak around and snap necks in HD?
