Star Wars Artist Working With Respawn
Star Wars: Episode I has plenty of things to complain about, but the designs of Queen Amidala and Darth Maul aren't among them. The artist who created the iconic style of those characters, Iain McCaig, is now teaming up with Respawn – the studio created by former Infinity Ward heads Jason West and Vince Zampella.
McCaig has an impressive history as a concept artist, not only in movies, but also for games like The Secret of Monkey Island. Speaking to Develop, McCaig said that working with Respawn is a highlight of his career, and that "Whether it’s military games or things set in space, it doesn’t matter, my huge burning passion is in designing people.”
Respawn has yet to announce a game, but the addition of McCaig to the development process only should add even more excitement around the studio's first project.
