Sony Announces Pair of Tablets
Sony has just announced a pair of Android-enabled tablets for this fall.
No pricing or official names have been announced yet, but the first tablet, codenamed S1, has a 9.4 inch screen, front/rear-facing cameras, and can communicate with other Sony devices via an infrared sensor.
S2 is a dual-screen machine and differentiates itself from S1 with two 5.5 inch displays, with the bottom one containing touch controls.
Both also run on Android 3.0, can connect to wi-fi/3G/4G network, and have a Tegra 2 processor.
The tablets are PlayStation certified, which links them to Sony's initiative to bring PlayStation-branded games to mobile/tablet devices along with developer support.
