Will Crash Mode Return In New Burnout?

It hasn't even been officially announced, but we're already hearing new details about Burnout Crash. After it was unceremoniously revealed thanks to the Australian ratings board, gamers were left to speculate about what exactly the game entails.

Obtaining a statement from the ratings board itself, Joystiq reveals that Burnout Crash will be "an action arcade style game set in the fictional world of Crash City. The aim of the game is to cause as much damage as possible to traffic and buildings by crashing a car into them."

This sounds an awful lot like Crash Mode, a popular feature of previous Burnout titles. However, that doesn't sound like the feature list of a full retail game, bolstering the assumption that Burnout Crash is likely to be a downloadable title. Of course, with no official announcement from EA, these are all just guesses. Heck, maybe Burnout Crash is an Australian exclusive!
