It's Official: Black Ops Map Pack Out May 3

Activision has given the stamp of legitimacy to the rumored Escalation map pack for Call of Duty: Black Ops. The DLC will be available to Xbox players May 3, with other platforms to follow.

Escalation contains five maps, one of which is a new Zombies level:

• Hotel puts players in a Cuban luxury resort so they can shoot each other in style
• Convoy is a tight map centered on an ambushed U.S. military convoy
• Zoo takes place in an abandoned Soviet zoo
• Stockpile is a sleepy Russian village that holds secret WMDs
• Zombies players will get "a unique Zombies experience"

No pricing information or PS3/PC release dates were announced.
