Dude From Hot Shots: Part Deux Trademarks Catchphrases For Video Games

by Matt Helgeson on Apr 05, 2011 at 09:40 AM

Hey remember Charlie Sheen? Charlie Sheen from Hot Shots: Part Deux? No? Um, he was also that crazy "Wild Thing" pitcher in Major League. Not ringing a bell? Oh, he also made out with Ferris Bueller's sister. Well, anyway, he was a pretty big deal in the '80s. We're not sure what the notoriously press-shy actor has been doing recently, but it turns out he is a catchphrase machine, and some of his witticisms have now been trademarked for use in a variety of entertainment properties, including video games.

Associated Press is reporting that the actor has filed 22 trademarks on a variety of "Sheenisms," including "Duh, Winning," "Vatican Assassin," "Tiger Blood," "Rock Star from Mars," and "I'm not bi-polar, I'm bi-winning," among others.

The trademarks cover many areas of entertainment and commerce, including t-shirts, promotional mugs, gambling machines, and yes, video games. So, who knows? Maybe we'll soon see an FPS with a "Violent Torpedo of Truth" weapon, or a survival horror game where a character is found dead of "cocaine toxicity."
