BioShock 2 Protector Trials Dated For PC
BioShock 2 PC players have been on a rollercoaster ride in terms of DLC, originally being told that Minerva’s Den and Protector Trials would “never come out on PC, due to “technical and timing issues.”
2K’s stance changed in October of last year, when a forum post revealed that development had resumed on both PC DLC packs. A date was never given for either release, but it was made to sound just over the horizon with the team “patching up the final bugs,” and expecting certification in December.
Updating PC players this weekend, 2K announced that Protector Trials will release for free on March 14. The DLC comes packaged with a patch that will address unlocalized text issues and mouse sensitivity.
No news on Minerva’s Den, which 2K is “still working on.”
