New Info On FF IV: The Complete Collection, Interlude Is 15 Hours
Square Enix fans have been salivating at the prospect of Final Fantasy VI: The Complete Collection, a PSP remake of the classic Final Fantasy IV packaged with Final Fantasy: The After Years, a Wii-exclusive downloadable title that takes place 17 years after the events of FF IV. However, the really intriguing part of the package was the promised interlude story, which connects the events of FF IV and The After Years.
The gaming website Siliconera had a chance to play Interlude, and reports that this is a very major addition to the FF universe -- coming in at about 15 hours of gameplay. The Interlude stars Cid and Cecil (both of who start out at level 30) and features combat that's true to the original FF IV (also known as Final Fantasy II on SNES in North America).
Final Fantasy IV: The Complete Collection comes out on April 19 and retails for $29.99. That's a whole lot of RPG goodness for your 30 bones.
