Civilization IV Track “Baba Yetu” Nabs Grammy
Marking a major achievement and step forward in recognizing the phenomenal work being done in video game audio, last night composer Christopher Tin was awarded a Grammy for the opening theme to Sid Meier’s Civilization IV, “Baba Yetu.”
Nominated for “Best Instrumental Arrangement Accompanying Vocalists, "Baba Yetu" is the standout track on Tin’s album Calling All Dawns, which was also nominated and won for “Best Crossover Classical Album.”
