Devil May Cry 4 Refrain Attacks iPhone

Devil May Cry might be in the process of a major reboot, but Capcom has just released a new DMC title for iPhone that taps into the series' past. Oddly entitled Devil May Cry 4 refrain (yes, "refrain" is in all lower-case letters), the game stars Nero in a title that aims to bring all the "deep combo systems and customization options" that the series is known for to the iPhone's touch screen.

DMC 4 refrain features ten levels and eight boss fights, which Nero can conquer with his new "Devil Bringer" arm, which add some new fighting mechanics to the mix. Of course, the real question here is whether or not the fast, frenetic action of DMC can be accomplished with touch screen controls. If you want to find out, it won't cost much. The game is available now (and for a limited time) for an introductory launch price of $1.99 at the Apple App store.
