Weekend Warrior 01/28/11
The weather is finally warming up here in Minneapolis, so while we'll finally have a chance to get out for some fresh, not-so-chilly air, we'll still make time for our favorite games. Check out what we're playing this weekend, then head over to the comments section and let us know what your games of choice are over the next couple days.
Bryan: I’m finally starting up Castlevania: Lords of Shadow. I’ve been very excited about it, but I’m prepared for what people are calling a “slow” intro.
Annette: LittleBigPlanet 2. I've spent a fair amount of time digging into awesome community levels so I'll probably continue playing through those, get more of the main campaign done, and finally put together my first cutscene after much hesitation! Also, Ive been catching up on 30 Rock so I'll continue working through season 4.
Tim: This weekend I want to endure the rest of Amnesia so that I can prepare myself for Dead Space 2. I don’t know if I could juggle two horror games at once, and I don’t want to find out. Other than that I want to continue leveling up my Blood Elf mage in WoW, and continue digging away in Minecraft!
Dan: This weekend pretty much belongs to Dead Space 2 and LittleBigPlanet 2 for me. Probably going through a marathon of the former on Saturday and wrapping up the story of the latter on Sunday. I’ll probably keep working on my LBP version of Air Force Gator as well.
Jeff M: My Oblivion plans for last weekend were sidetracked by Pinball FX 2’s Biolab tournament, which I played way too much of. Adding an extra 100 points to my Superscore, which Dan can never get back, made it worthwhile, but now I really want to get back to Bethesda’s last RPG. Also, with everyone crying over how scary Dead Space 2 is, I think it’s finally time to finish off the original game.
Sean: My goals are simple: beat Dead Space 2, beat Mass Effect. Wish me luck since my son has LittleBigPlanet 2 and that will be happening. A lot.
Jeff A: I finally wrapped up Assassin’s Creed II and Chrono Trigger a couple of weeks ago and had every intention of playing AC: Brotherhood through to completion. I had just picked up Mass Effect 2 (for PS3) and planned on hitting that up after completing Brotherhood. Lo and behold, word got out of my plan to just skip the first Mass Effect since I am sans a 360 and a few of the editors here decided to take matters into their own hands. Thus I ended up being lent a 360 and a copy of Mass Effect. Now I have that to contemplate. I’m really digging Brotherhood, but the allure of the Mass Effect world is quite intriguing indeed. Oh the decisions...
That's it for us. What are you up to this weekend?
