Get those lighters ready Wii owners, next week’s Rock Band Network DLC is for you. It will also be your last.

Tuesday January18, marks the date that the Wii will receive its last batch of Rock Band Network DLC. According to Harmonix’s blog, “With the smaller online install base, limited demand for releases so far and the significant amount of work it takes for our producers and audio team to convert and process these additional tracks we’re no longer able to continue submitting RBN content to the Wii.”

PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 owners have nothing to fear. For the foreseeable future, both of those systems will still be receiving a regular stream of new songs. The Wii’s last song set includes:

  • The Main Drag – "How We'd Look On Paper"
  • Wounded Soul – "Rx"
  • Band of Horses – "The Great Salt Lake"
  • Firewind – "Head Up High"
  • Cetan Clawson and the Soul Side – "White Heat"
  • OK Go – "White Knuckles"

[Note: Rock Band Network is Harmonix's indie band outlet. Regular Rock Band DLC will continue on Wii.]
