More Super Mario All-Stars?
The recent 25th Anniversary edition of Super Mario All-Stars is an incredible deal. As such, the limited edition game has started to become scarce out in the retail wild. Fear not, however, as Nintendo says that it is considering putting out another run of the game.
Wired Magazine talked to Nintendo PR director Marc Franklin who said, “Because of the strong response, we are exploring the option of bringing this item back at a later date.” The game, which originally cost $30, is currently unavailable on online retailers like GameStop, and is now going for more than $80 on eBay.
Super Mario All-Stars is quite an impressive package that contains enhanced versions of Super Mario Bros. 1-3, the Lost Levels (known as Super Mario Bros. 2 in Japan), a Super Mario history soundtrack CD, and a 32-page booklet.
