2K Sports Giving Away Million Dollars Again
Last year, 2K Sports gave away a million dollars to Alabama's Wade Gilberry for pitching a perfect game with MLB 2K10. The contest is returning after MLB 2K11 comes out on March 8. Oil up your gloves and get your emery boards ready.
The million dollar perfect game contest starts on April 1 – weeks after the start date of last year's contest, which began as soon as the game came out (Gilberry won the day 2K10 came out). 2K says that it wants gamers to get to use the starting day lineups instead of the spring training setting, and that's not the only change for this year's event. The minimum age requirement has been lowered to allow those 13-and-up to compete in the contest.
Major League Baseball 2K11 features some new pitching tweaks as well as the normal roster of yearly improvements, so gamers will have a month after 2K11's release to practice before reaching for the big money.
