“SC is Back! Get ready, fans!”

Soulcalibur Fans are getting and unexpected Christmas gift today, as lead designer Daishi Odashima tweeted this morning that the franchise is back for another round.

The short tweet simply read “SC is Back! Get ready, fans!” but was accompanied with a photo of Odashsima at work in a colorful floral shirt, posed with a pair of sketches boasting giant swords.

Although this appears to be Odashima’s first tweet – one that he decided to put to good use – the photo seems legitimate.

That’s all the information we’ve got about the new title, but if you’re a core Soulcalibur fan, it may  be enough.
