Child's Play 2010 Donations Pass $1 Million Mark
If there's one thing I love more than gaming and charity individually, it's when we can put them together. Thus I definitely love Child's Play, an organization that takes donations and uses the money to get toys and games to children in hospitals around the U.S. This year's Child's Play donations have just topped $1 million.
The Child's Play website reports that they reached the milestone thanks to a formal dinner auction that raised $183,000 all on its own. The current total raised for 2010 is $1,118,000, which is definitely nice, though Joystiq notes that last year they raised $1.7 million. Luckily, we've still got several weeks of donating left. Get to it!
