Namco Bandai Sales: Enslaved Disappoints, Naruto Excels

Japanese gaming blog Andriasang has posted some Namco Bandai software sales figures, and much of the news is bad. Its much-hyped Enslaved, developed by Ninja Theory, has failed to meet sales forecasts.
The game, which Namco had hoped would sell 1 million copies, has only sold 800,000. While this isn't massive failure, its certainly not in line with expectations for a game that many felt had blockbuster potential. In better news, Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm 2 exceed its forecast of 700,000 units by cracking the million mark. Namco also revealed that its Splatterhouse reboot, which it had slotted at 1 million in sales, will probably only sell 350,000. Ouch. The company also adjusted its forecast for Majin and the Foresaken Kingdom from 1 million to 300,000 units.
