Super Meat Boy XBLA Patch, Extra Levels Inbound

Team Meat is almost done with a patch that will fix a few of the game's bugs, and the developer is including a free level pack with the update to boot.

The patch will fix an autosave bug that can cause the game to not save properly, as well as a couple of other minor problems. The level pack, which is part of the game's "Teh Internets" mode, will add 20 new levels. Team Meat has also been tweeting about the PC version of SMB a lot lately, revealing numerous tantalizing bits of information. In addition to Mr. Minecraft's inclusion in the game, the PC version will have five additional characters not included in the Xbox 360 version, plus more achievements and the coveted level editor. The PC release is on schedule for the last week in November, and will initially be on sale at a reduced price, just like the XBLA release. So who's ready for more Super Meat Boy?
