Medal Of Honor Is Getting Paid DLC As Well

by Phil Kollar on Oct 27, 2010 at 09:10 AM

Last week, EA announced some free downloadable content for Medal of Honor titled "Clean Sweep." Today, they've revealed that additional paid DLC will be arriving on the same day, November 2.

The paid DLC unlocks a new game type called Hot Zone, which is essentially King of the Hill mode: Teams fight to control specific locations on the map, and the team that holds out the longest wins. Hot Zone will be playable on two new maps, Hindukush Pass and Korengal Outpost.

Access to the new maps and Hot Zone will cost 800 Microsoft Points ($10) on Xbox Live and $9.99 on PlayStation Network and via the EA Store on PC. It seems a little strange to be releasing paid maps the same day as some free maps that are just as likely to keep players busy, but there it is. Anyone planning to check these out?
