Back in the dark days of the original PlayStation, a secret cabal of the game industry's most talented creators spent a weekend secluded together in a dark catacomb, attempting to concoct an idea for the greatest video game ever (to feature comedian Dana Gould). The result? Gex: Enter the Gecko.

On this week's episode of Replay, Tim Turi, Ben Reeves, Andrew Reiner, and I look back on one of the most popular platformers that has totally faded away in the generations following its release. Does Gex still hold up? (Not exactly.) Will Ben die a bunch? (You know it.) Will any of us survive one of the most atrocious choices for a Replay Roulette yet? (Barely!)
