Happy Birthday GIO! My Favorite Moments
It’s been one year since GIO’s redesign and what a year it’s been. Supersnake shares some of his favorite online moments. Share your own in the comments section of his post.

"Taliban"-ned
Shawn Gordon tackles the Medal of Honor controversy, addressing the name change from Taliban to Opposing Forces in the controversial multiplayer mode. “I begin to feel slightly uneasy toward the alteration however, not with EA, but with the angry mobs in either direction. Numerous sources point out that changing the name changes nothing. The OpFor is mechanically, objectively, and geographically unchanged. A seven-letter word reduced to a five-letter truncated conjunction is the only action taken – that is all. Why then would I agree with the principle of changing the name, but also feel it was incorrect to do so?” Find out in his post.

Just In Time for Halloween, Nintend O’ Lanterns…
Saint gets into the Halloween spirit by showing off some awesome Halloween-themed pumpkin carvings.

Mega Man Legends: A Retrospect and Future Look
“Nostalgia is blinding my eyes like scorpion venom.  To me, Mega Man Legends was one of the cornerstones of my childhood. But it seems that it's one of those underappreciated gems from long ago that not many people, not even many Mega Man fans, really know about. Staff blogs you may have missed: Sean goes vault spelunking, Jeff A. highlights the worst in box art design, and Andy suggests a few games that deserve a re-release.
