Dead Space 2 Closed Multiplayer Beta Invites Sent

We've heard across gaming forums that invites have been sent by EA and Visceral Games for the closed multiplayer beta for Dead Space 2. We've only heard hints of possible beta testing once multiplayer details were announced, but it had never been officially confirmed.

Sounds like the closed beta is exclusive to PlayStation 3 owners, and since it is a closed beta, you'll need an invite to get into the party. There will be an opportunity to play with the multiplayer team on September 26 and they will also be available for questions.

We've only really heard about the Dead Space 2 beta through the grapevine at this point, but have contacted EA for confirmation and full details. If you've gotten an invite in your inbox, feel free to shoot us a news tip and we'll update the story!
