Tokyo Game Show 2010 Sets Attendance Record

Organizer CESA just closed the doors on its annual Tokyo Game Show, and it looks like it was a much better year for the convention, which has been perceived as being in decline for the past few years. CESA revealed to blog Andriasang that this year's show has set a new TGS attendance record, with a total of 207,647 visitors posted over the four days of the show. This is up significantly from last year's event, which tallied 185,030 attendees. TGS hopes to keep the momentum going with next year's show, which is tentatively slated for either September 15 through 18 of 2011 or September 16 through 19 of 2011. Right now, CESA is determining whether there will be one or two "business" days of the show (business days are closed to the general public).
