Famous Characters Sit Down For Telltale's Poker Game

You wouldn't think the Heavy from Team Fortress 2 and Penny Arcade's Tycho would have much in common, but Telltale Games is uniting them and other characters for Poker Night at the Inventory.

"We've had the idea for some time of exploring the idea of what video characters do when they're not on the clock in the games we play," explained Dan Connors, Telltale CEO. "We pitched the idea to friends in the industry and it really resonated. We all had a great time imagining what these guys would banter about while slinging cards..."

The game also features Max (the rabbit-like thing) from Sam & Max and Strong Bad from Homestar Runner, and each character will have his share of fully voiced humorous dialog.

Poker Night at the Inventory comes out this fall for $4.99 for PC and Mac, and the game utilizes Valve's Steamworks' services.
