Japan’s PSP Sales Double
Have you written off Sony’s handheld as a flop? Perhaps you’ve forgotten about the unit’s success in it’s country of origin, Japan. The PSP has enjoyed a doubling of sales in Japan.
During the week ended August 29, PSP sales grew to 50,000. That’s 10,000 more than the DS and 25,000 more than the PS3. Edge points to mega-popular title Monster Hunter Diary as the culprit for the sales spike.
