New Details On Catherine From Atlus

Atlus raised some eyebrows when it announced its adult-themed Catherine, an action horror game for PS3 and Xbox 360. Now we have more than just a few titillating images, since the publisher has dropped a few hints about some of the game's features.

In an interview, a representative of Atlus revealed that Catherine has been in the works for two years, and is schedule to release this winter (in Japan). The characters are fully voiced, and the story includes multiple endings. Even better, the company estimates that the game will take about 20 hours to finish...a nice surprise considering that the project is coming from the minds behind the notoriously long Persona titles.

Catherine definitely has me intrigued. I'm a fan of the Persona series, and the action/horror/relationship genre has plenty of room to grow. I just hope the game makes its way Stateside so I can see how it turns out.
