Amazon Stops Selling XBLA Titles

The gargantuan online retailer has dropped the sale of Xbox Live Aracde games via code, although it continues to sell points cards and Xbox Live memberships.

Despite this development, Amazon continues to sell WiiWare and PlayStation Network titles. This reason for the move away from Microsoft's downloadable titles is unclear, but Microsoft has historically not been super accommodating with partners' wishes if they deviate from Microsoft's Live rules – such as when trying to release MMOs on the service. The reasons behind Amazon's move are unknown, however, and hopefully this situation is of a different stripe.
