DJ Hero 2 Gets Release Date

According to info coming out of Gamescom, the thumping beats of the DJ Hero franchise will return in just a few months.

Activision has revealed an October 19th release date for DJ Hero 2. You can read more about the announcement over at the official website for the game.

Last year, DJ Hero improbably managed to carve out its own slot of the music game genre with a fresh experience and a unique approach to tunes -- nearly every track was a mix of two unique songss. The new game ups the ante with increased multiplayer support; two turntables and a microphone were inevitable, don't you think? And can DJ Hero compete with the more established brands like Rock Band and Guitar Hero?
