Abaddon: Retribution Coming To Xbox Live Indie

One of the best games on the Indie service is getting a sequel, and we've got the newest trailer.

Last week we highlighted the original Abaddon as one of the best games available on the Xbox Live Indie service. Justin Kellogg, the developer of the game, was kind enough to send on some info on his upcoming sequel.

Abaddon: Retribution will feature a full campaign/story mode that will include a host of new weapons and abilities for your ship. There's also a PVP mode. Otherwise, the game should share a great deal in common with its predecessor, a great twin-stick shooter with tower defense mechanics thrown into the mix. As a small fighter ship, you work to defend the massive battle cruiser called Abaddon.

Kellogg reports that Retribution will be available on the Xbox Live Indie channel within the next couple of months. You can watch the game's progress over at the game's website. In the meantime, you can check out this video of some of the new abilities in action.
