Pre-Order Fable III, Create Your Own Villager

Microsoft and Lionhead are giving fans who pre-order Fable III the chance to access the game's new character creator tool, the Fable III Villager Maker. Your customized villager will provide your hero a new quest and 1,000 gold when the game releases on October 26.

The Villager Maker launches today in the U.S. and U.K., and will release worldwide later this week. You'll be able to try it out at the official Fable III site, but you'll have to pre-order Fable III to transfer your custom creation into the game (a redeemable code will be provided). Choose between a male or female villager with more than 2,000 variations, add a backstory, personality traits, clothing, and more. With the tool you'll be able to save your character as desktop wallpaper, or share it on Facebook and Twitter.
