Metro 2033 DLC Hitting Steam And Xbox Live Next Week
We've known that DLC was in the works for THQ's Metro 2033 for a while now, but the release time frame has remained hazy. Now we know that the Ranger Pack DLC will be out next week.
Adding in two new weapons, some new Achievements, and the Ranger game mode, this DLC will be available on Steam and Xbox Live on August 3. If you're playing the PC version, you'll get the pack for free as an auto-update to your game, but if you're on Xbox, you'll need to pay 240 Microsoft points ($3).
If you haven't heard already, Ranger Mode basically makes the game more realistic and, as such, ultra-difficult. Ammo is even more sparse than it already is, weapons do less damage with the little ammo you find, the HUD is gone completely. It's basically a total immersion mode, but be ready for a challenge.
