Need For Speed World Revs Up Next Week

The rubber meets the road for Need for Speed World, the PC racing MMO by EA developer Black Box, on July 27. But you can start the NFS World action before then.

You can download the game on July 27, but on July 20 you can pre-order the game for $20 and at the same time get access to the Need for Speed World Starter Pack. This gives you:

• Early access to the game on July 20
• Unlocking of exclusive cars
• The chance to earn double XP
• Reserves your driver name & have your VIP status displayed in your driver profile
• $20 worth of SpeedBoost (the in-game currency)
• Access to level 50 and an assortment of power-ups

Even if you don't get the pre-order, you can download the free client (at world.needforspeed.com) in order to demo the game up to level 10.
