Weekend Warrior 07/16/10
Check out the post to find out what games we're catching up on, then head over to the comments section and share your weekend game plans.
Andy: Besides a Twins game on Friday night (go Twins!), I plan to spend most of the weekend playing Dragon Age: Origins, World of Warcraft: Cataclysm Beta, and some Singularity to break it up. All on PC, and all while watching stupid things on the TV at the same time. What can I say, I'm an awesome multitasker. I will likely be eating and drinking while I do all this as well. I'm like a circus act. Amazing, I know.
Jeff C: I’m going camping, unfortunately, so I’m not going to have a whole lot of time to play this weekend. I’m grinding my way through Ninety-Nine Nights II though, and I’m hoping to get some time in with that. I’ll also probably check out some assorted Rock Band DLC I’ve been hoarding over the past few months. I keep downloading it, but I don’t play as much anymore. Yeah, I’ve got some real problems.
Kato: I just got a copy of Limbo, so I'm excited to download that and start playing. Puzzle-type games aren't really my thing, but it's virtually impossible to look at that title and not be intrigued enough to give it a try.
Annette: Aside from traveling preparations for next week and wrapping up some work before heading off to Cali for a couple events, I'll finish Dead Space. The game is just the right amount of scary for me considering how much of a wuss I am. To continue with the creepy, atmospheric games theme, I got access to Limbo and I'm really looking forward to getting some time with it. This game has been on my radar since I watched Meagan play for the first time for our indie week earlier this year so I'm stoked to finally get to play it for myself.
Dan: Seeing Inception tonight and I'm extremely excited after hearing nothing but glowing reviews. Tomorrow I'll probably spend some time at a water park if the weather agrees with me, and I'll be spending the night hours at the Drinking Spelling Bee. Sunday will probably be a "lay around and play video games" type of day, and I'd like to finish up the extremely underwhelming Crackdown 2. Once that's out of the way, I'll probably continue on with the excellent Joe Danger.
Jeff M: After playing through and beating the surprisingly awesome Singularity this week, I've got my sights back on finishing up Red Dead this weekend. I know I said that last week too. Don't judge me.
That's it for us. What are you up to this weekend?
