Capcom Classics Coming To Wii Virtual Console
If the announcement of the retro-packed Mega Man Universe didn’t deliver enough classic, arcade goodness, we’ve got more for you. Capcom is going to start unleashing their arcade classics via Nintendo’s downloadable service.
The first release is SonSon, which originally hit greasy pizza joints in 1984. Predictably, the game is about a monkey boy fighting his way to the statue of Buddha while fighting rats, bats, and bombers. Also, he shoots fireballs. It supports two players.
SonSon can be yours for 800 Wii Points this summer, followed by regular additions of other classic Capcom arcade titles.
