Aliens Vs. Predator Console Patch Scrapped

A post on the official Sega forums from one of the companies' assistant community managers regarding the game says that the console patch for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions of the game has been "scrapped."

"I've just received a mail this AM regarding patches for the console versions of AVP and I regret to inform everyone that these have sadly been scrapped," the post read. Although the poster says that a patch was planned, now it won't be happening. "I'll keep fighting internally for this to happen," they vow, "but until I hear otherwise there will not be a console patch for either Xbox or PS3."

We're sure fans were looking forward to a patch, but it sounds like the game needed more than a simple patch anyway. Check out our review here.
