Sackboy Cake Devoured By Children

The problem with making a cake look exactly like a cartoon or video game character is that a child, like seven-year-old Will, will eventually see his or her favorite character cut to pieces and devoured. It's a bit morbid, no? This vanilla sponge with butter cream Sackboy sounds delicious, but I don't think I could live with the thought of him being in my stomach. I could probably eat his zipper, but that's about it.

Hats off to UK-based Small Things Iced for making such a detailed sculpture, but maybe they should make it out of wood next time. Keep the cakes flat, and as far from adorable as possible. R.I.P. Edible Sackboy.
