Medal of Honor 24-Player Multiplayer Live At E3
EA just showed live 24-player multiplayer PS3 action at its ongoing E3 press conference, and announced that both maps from the upcoming beta will be playable on the E3 show floor starting tomorrow.
The press conference stunt had two 12-player teams competing for kills in a team deathmatch set in the ruins of Kabul, Afghanistan. Developed by Battlefield creator DICE, the gameplay looks like exactly what you would expect out of a (cough) modern warfare first-person shooter. The explosions are fiery, the gunfire is loud, and the chatter is constant.
How Medal of Honor ties into EA’s upcoming Gun Club meta-progression, and how tightly the gameplay is tuned, are the real questions. We should have answers to both of those shortly. Come back later this week to get a hands-on report from the show floor and more.
